Volunteers

HSA has an immediate need for volunteers to help with:

Events at the school – ushers, coat checking, bartenders, servers, hall monitors and crowd control helpers
Community outreach – street fairs and concerts
General administrative office work (e.g., receptionist, filing, collating, taking attendance for classes, database entry and updating, photocopying, etc.).

Internship Opportunities

The Harlem School of the Arts, Inc. is a not for profit, community-based arts school that provides quality arts
instruction in four disciplines (music, dance, theatre, and visual arts), to young people ages 2 – 18 and adults, in the
historic Hamilton Heights section of West Harlem.

We are looking for talented interns who are interested in
investing their time in the rewarding world of the non-profit sector. Unpaid internship opportunities are available in
arts administration, marketing and communications, fundraising, and performing arts programming. It's a great and
worth while investment in your professional future.

HSA Pre-Prep: Partial Scholarship. For Ages 7-11: audition time 11:00am, for Ages 12-17: audition time 1:00pm. Audition attire: black leotard & pink or flesh colored tights with matching ballet slippers. Please arrive 30 minutes before audition time to check-in
